An Unsightly UPVC Door
Having recently purchased their new house Dr & Mrs Siepmann wanted to add their own sense of style both internally and externally. “The unpleasant looking white UPVC door with was a priority for us. It let in a draft and didn’t feel very secure at all”.
Mr & Mrs Siepmann researched composite doors online and came across The Nottingham Window Company. “The Door Designer tool that they have on their website is excellent. We were able to swap and change colours, styles & accessories which really helped us to visualise how our door would look. After using this tool we knew that we wanted a Solidor”.
A Modern Door with Victorian Values
The Siepmanns wanted a door that matched the traditional look of the property. “We went for the Conway 3, it’s an elegant design and we felt that it really matched the front of our home”.
Their next challenge came when deciding on colour. “With such a wide range of options it was difficult to choose. We wanted it to be in keeping with the period style of our home. So in the end we opted for green”.
The Siepmanns were very pleased with the service that they received from The Nottingham Window Company. “The sales team, surveyors and installers were all incredibly helpful and professional. They were on hand to offer advice which was great”.
Traditional Aesthetic, Modern Performance
Since the door has been installed the Siepmanns have certainly noticed a difference “It’s completely changed the appearance of our home for the better. The door is much more solid than the previous one. It doesn’t rattle in the wind like the UPVC one did, which makes us feel safe and secure in our home. We are really happy with our new Solidor and would recommend them to anyone.
