Not content with taking over mainland England as the most dynamic supplier of second generation composite doors, Solidor are now working with Peninsula Home Improvements from Anglesey, North Wales.
Launched in 1984, Peninsula was the first installer and manufacturer of PVCu windows and doors in North Wales. Over the past 28 years the company has earned the status as one of the market leaders in the home improvement industry, when it comes to the adoption of new product ranges.
One of the most recent projects on Anglesey was for the replacement of a front door with a Naples, Chartwell Green door from Solidor’s Italia Collection. This was supplied with a matching Kömmerling outer frame and featured a Tudor handle and matching letterplate from the company’s exclusive antique furniture range. This installed door was supplied with a certificate of compliance, achieving a U-value of 1.2 w/(m2K).
Ken Grayson, managing director of Peninsula Home Improvements commented: “For the last 18 months we’ve been working with Solidor and our delighted not only with the product but with the service. We’re a very product focused business and it’s always important for us to offer the leading products in each sector, which Solidor clearly is.”
