We think it’s very important to give as much back as we can to the local community, particularly to worthy causes.
Most recently we donated a brand new Solidor to the much loved Douglas Macmillan Hospice for their giant warehouse in Burslem where members of the public can purchase various items in aid of the hospice.
Founded in 1973, the Douglas Macmillan Hospice is a specialist palliative care provider in North Staffordshire.
Their dedicated staff and volunteers provide incredible support to those with life limiting illnesses and their families, however, it costs £12 million annually to run the hospices’ services free of charge.
Donating a brand new door was therefore the least we could do and we gifted them one of our most popular designs – the Solidor Beeston.
The Beeston features a large glazed section which will ensure that lots of natural sunlight forces it way through, and like every Solidor, it comes fitted with the Ultion lock, Britain’s best and most secure locking mechanism.
A big shout out to fellow Potteries firm Lister Trade Frames Ltd (LISTERS) who were generous enough to fit and install the door at no cost.
We’re sure you will agree that the Beeston has completely transformed the entranceway and we’re delighted to report that the charity’s warehouse workers love their new door.
