Simon lives in a 1960’s 3 Bed semi-detached house in Fleet, Hampshire. The previous owner had installed an aluminium patio door at the front of the house as wheelchair access was needed.
The door was a sliding patio that was drafty and looked really ugly as a front door. It had to go!
As part of a renovation project Simon had already installed anthracite grey windows and wanted a composite door what would match.
After using the Solidor Door Designer I went for the Palermo in Anthracite Grey along with side lights and matching frame. Above all else I liked that Solidor provided me with the opportunity to customise my door style, colour and the furniture.
It was also great that my new Solidor would be perfectly measured to fit the non-standard opening that was going to be left by the old door. Solidor provided me with exactly what I wanted.
Simon used local firm 4 Design & Build Ltd to install his Solidor
4 Design had already fitted my new windows and French/bifold doors so I knew they’d do a great job. They knew all about the Solidor range so were able to offer advice and the installation went smoothly. I’m really pleased.
Simon is very happy with the end result. His new Soidor is now the focal point for the front of his home.
Aesthetically, the Solidor has made a huge improvement to the house. There’s so much light coming into the hallway!
While you can’t measure improved security yourself, the door and lock feels very solid and robust giving confidence that the house is protected.
It’s hard to emphasise how much the new Solidor has changed the appearance of the front my house. The house looks finished now and stands out in the street!
I’d recommend Solidor to anyone.
