The past 12 months have been hugely successful for Solidor to make it a memorable year for the entire team, so we have decided to pick out a few of our favourite moments from 2016.
Customer Returns To Solidor To Complete House Renovation
We love it when customers come back for more. That’s what happened when Ellie Padley decided to purchase a new Solidor for the rear of her home, after previously having a Solidor front entranceway fitted a few months earlier.
It was part of a larger home renovation project Ellie and her husband were undertaking in West Yorkshire.

2 New Colours Now Available At Solidor
There’s always anticipation whenever we’re about to announce new additions to our extensive colour range and this year we decided to make the news public at the FIT Show where we showcased our new Golden Sand and Peacock Blue finishes.
These additions took the number of colours we offer up to 20, and they were both positively received by suppliers and customers.
Since their launch in April, we have experienced high demand for Golden Sand and Peacock Blue installations. To coincide with the new finishes, we also launched a brand new website.
Solidor Achieves An Industry First
Solidor has always liked to break new ground within the industry, so it was only fitting that we would have the 1st officially licensed stable door in the UK, as recognised by Secured by Design.
We respect how importantly householders value home security and our stable doors at the best in business for keeping thieves out, particularly as they also come fitted with the ultra-secure Ultion lock.
Expect similar industry-leading feats from Solidor in 2017!
Solidor Seals ‘Fabricator Of The Year’ Crown
In November, we walked away with yet another industry award, this time for ‘Fabricator of the Year’ at the 2016 G Awards, the glazing industry’s premier awards event.
It isn’t the first time we have walked away with a prize from the ceremony having won ‘Promotional Campaign of the Year – Retail’ in 2015, but it gets no less flattering to be recognised by your peers.
It just means that we have to sustain the exceptionally high standards we have set for ourselves, which we fully intend on continuing to do.
As a final note, thank you to everyone who has supported Solidor in 2016, and of course to our fantastic network of installation companies for their continued good work.
